You don't want to have this plant at home

This plant called 'Pokok Puding' in Malay language. Its scientific name is Codiaeum Variegatum. Many people didn't know it can be very poisonous. When I was small, I've seen this plant around and people use this plant as a decoration at home, school and even office.

If a child bites its leaf, it can kill the child in less than 1 minute. For an adult, it can cause death in less than 15 minutes. If you touched it, avoid touching your eyes. It can lead to blindness because of its poison or its rubber.

The effect if you bite its leaf is that it cause your tongue to be swollen immediately and block your airway. This will cause death because of suffocation.

Now that you have read this, if you love your family and children, please put this plant away as far as possible out of reach.
